In September 27, 2014 Eramen Minerals Inc. conducted a coastal cleanup with cooperation with Mines and Geosciences Bureau (MGB) and Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) on Brgy. Sabang, Sta. Cruz, Zambales to participate to the annual international coastal cleanup day. The company and the organizations participate and work together to this annual global movement to lessen the trash to the coastline and ocean and also to provide a cleaner and better environment for the residents of the area.

Most of the trash that was collected is plastics and tree branches and leaves. The collected branches and leaves were given to the Charcoal Briquette area and was used in the production of charcoal briquette.
