(EMI) continues to make a lasting impact on its host and neighboring communities through strategic infrastructure development and essential support services. Under its Social Development and Management Program – Development of Host and Neighboring Communities (SDMP-DHNC), EMI has been investing in projects that enhance connectivity, improve public utilities, and create a more resilient environment for residents. By prioritizing infrastructure development, EMI ensures that communities have access to safer roads, sustainable energy solutions, and vital public facilities, contributing to long-term economic and social progress.

One of EMI’s recent infrastructure projects is the construction of a 112-meter farm-to-market road in Brgy. Guinabon, funded with PHP 780,000 under the SDMP 2024 DNHC Catch-Up Program. This initiative has improved accessibility for 1,764 residents, particularly benefiting farmers and traders by providing a more efficient route for transporting goods, reducing travel costs, and increasing economic opportunities. Additionally, EMI has invested PHP 100,000 in the installation of eight solar-powered streetlights in Purok 5, Brgy. Bulawon, enhancing nighttime safety and promoting renewable energy use. These streetlights have contributed to improved security, reduced accidents, and a more environmentally friendly approach to community lighting. Through these infrastructure projects, EMI reaffirms its commitment to sustainable development, ensuring that local communities benefit from improved mobility, economic growth, and energy-efficient solutions. As EMI continues to expand its development efforts, it remains dedicated to fostering self-sufficient and thriving communities beyond its mining operations.
