By Camilla Bañares | Heeding the call of MGB Region 3, EMI, alongside fellow mining companies in Santa Cruz, Zambales, actively participated in a coastal clean-up and mangrove planting activity on May 29th at Barangay Sabang, Santa Cruz, Zambales. This collaborative initiative, involving MGB Region 3, PENRO Iba, CENRO Masinloc, PNP, and BFP Sta. Cruz, as well as the dedicated barangay officials of Sabang, served a crucial purpose, promoting coastal resilience, fostering rich ecosystems, and combating climate change.
This activity, held in celebration of Ocean Month with the theme “Planet Ocean: Tides are changing,” upholds Eramen’s commitment to biodiversity conservation as part of its Annual Environmental Protection and Enhancement Program.
