Estrellado | On March 31, 2026, Eramen Minerals, Inc. welcomed mining engineering students and faculty from President Ramon Magsaysay State University (PRMSU) – Iba, Zambales Campus for an Educational Mine Site Visit. The activity aimed to strengthen the connection between academic instruction and real-world mining practices.
During the visit, participants were given the opportunity to observe actual mining operations and gain insights into essential industry aspects, including safety protocols, environmental management, and community development initiatives. Guided discussions and site exposure enabled students to better understand the practical applications of concepts learned in the classroom.
As first-year and pioneering mining engineering students of PRMSU, the participants demonstrated strong enthusiasm and commitment to their chosen field. The experience marked an important step in their academic journey, equipping them with foundational knowledge and perspective as they begin to navigate the mining profession.
