By Erica Manalo | Demonstrating a strong commitment to community health and social responsibility, employees of Eramen Minerals, Inc. (EMI)—through the company’s Safety and Health Section—participated in a mass blood donation drive organized by the Local Government Unit of Sta. Cruz Rural Health Unit, in partnership with the Philippine Red Cross – Zambales Chapter.

The bloodletting activity was held on June 3–4, 2025 at Barangay Lucapon North and Barangay Biay, Sta. Cruz, Zambales.

This initiative seeks to ensure the availability of safe and sufficient blood supplies for patients in need—especially those undergoing critical medical procedures or battling life-threatening conditions. Through the collective efforts of volunteers and partner agencies, the drive contributes significantly to saving lives and strengthening public health services in the community.

Eramen remains dedicated to promoting health and wellness, not only within the workplace but across the broader communities it serves.
