By Weesayo La-Ena Sarmiento | Eramen Minerals, Inc. (EMI), through its Safety and Health Office, actively participated in the 2nd Quarter Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED) conducted by the Office of Civil Defense (OCD) on June 18, 2026.
The activity was undertaken to evaluate the company’s earthquake emergency response procedures, enhance coordination among personnel, and assess overall operational readiness in anticipation of a major seismic event, commonly referred to as the “Big One.”
