By Mark Anthony Millena | Eramen Minerals Inc. (EMI), through its Social Development and Management Program (SDMP), successfully implemented the Assistance to Association/Cooperative/Government Organization/NGO project for the Sta. Cruz Mango Growers Multi-Purpose Cooperative on May 23, 2026, in Barangay Bayto, Sta. Cruz, Zambales. With a total project cost of Php 120,000.00, the initiative directly benefits 59 cooperative members by strengthening their livelihood and enterprise development.
The project focuses on enhancing the quality and value of mango produce through improved processing, packaging, and product development techniques. By supporting the production of various mango-based products such as jams, preserves, dried mangoes, and juices, the cooperative is better equipped to maximize harvest utilization and reduce post-harvest losses.

This initiative also promotes the development of entrepreneurial skills among members, enabling them to explore diversified income streams and increase the market competitiveness of their products. Through value-adding strategies, the cooperative can expand its reach and create more sustainable business opportunities.
Overall, the project contributes to improved household income, strengthened local enterprise, and enhanced economic resilience within the community, reinforcing EMI’s commitment to sustainable and inclusive development.
Transforming harvests into opportunities unlocks lasting economic potential.
