Estrellado | Eramen Minerals Inc., through its Community Relations Office, participated in the Engage 2.0 Community and Relational Organizing Training Seminar organized by the Central Luzon Community Relations Association Inc. (CLCRAI), in coordination with the MGB Region III and facilitated by the Philippine Community Relations Development and Resource Center (PCRDRC). Held on April 28–30, 2026 at Dawal Beach Resort, Candelaria, Zambales, the seminar carried the theme “Stronger Relationships. Deeper Trust. Sustainable Communities,” emphasizing collaboration and trust in stakeholder engagement.
The event was graced by Engr. Lauro S. Garcia Jr., Chief of the Mine Safety, Environment, and Social Development Division (MSESDD) of MGB Region III, underscoring the importance of continuous capacity development in advancing social performance within the industry.
Throughout the seminar, participants engaged in meaningful discussions, interactive workshops, and field-based exercises designed to enhance competencies in community organizing, trust-building, and conflict-sensitive engagement. These activities provided practical strategies to better address community needs, strengthen transparency, and foster inclusive participation among stakeholders.
Sustainable development is achieved when trust is built, voices are heard, and partnerships are strengthened.
