By Mark Anthony Millena | On February 16, 2026, the Procurement of Certified Seeds to Canaynayan Farmers Association was implemented in Barangay Canaynayan, benefiting 84 farmer-members with a total project cost of Php 150,000.00. The initiative focused on providing certified seeds known for their high germination rate, genetic purity, and resistance to pests and diseases.

Through this intervention, farmers are expected to achieve improved crop yields, increased productivity, and enhanced food security within the community. Access to quality seeds also promotes more sustainable and efficient farming practices, helping reduce risks associated with crop failure.
