Eramen Minerals Inc Nutrition Assistance

By Spencer Manila | Eramen Minerals Inc. continues to show its commitment to supporting early childhood development through meaningful community programs. One recent initiative focused on improving the well-being of Day Care students in Barangay Naulo, Sta. Cruz, Zambales.

On July 1, 2025, Eramen, through its Social Development and Management Program (SDMP), launched a ₱50,000.00 feeding program aimed at addressing childhood hunger and improving classroom readiness among young learners.

The program provided daily nutritious meals to Day Care pupils, helping to combat malnutrition and boost children’s focus and energy levels. This effort reflects the importance of good nutrition during a child’s formative years, which directly influences their ability to learn, attend school regularly, and participate actively in classroom activities.

Parents and teachers alike have welcomed the initiative, noting improvements in the children’s physical health, mood, and classroom engagement. By easing the burden on families and ensuring that students receive consistent nourishment, the program contributes meaningfully to the overall learning environment.

This initiative highlights Eramen’s dedication to addressing the basic needs of its host communities through socially responsible programs that promote health, education, and family well-being.
