Lead Like the Babaylans: Honoring Strength and Leadership at EMI

National Women’s Month - Eramen Minerals Inc.

(EMI), through its Human Resource Section, proudly celebrated National Women’s Month on March 6, 2026, with a meaningful and engaging program themed “Lead like the Babaylans, Filipinas!” The activity brought together women employees and on-the-job trainees (OJTs) in a day dedicated to recognizing their invaluable contributions and promoting empowerment in the workplace.

The celebration commenced with an energizing Zumba session led by ZumbaLovers Sta. Cruz, setting a positive and vibrant tone for the day. This was followed by an inspiring seminar facilitated by Dr. Erly Joy E. Pablo of President Ramon Magsaysay State University – Masinloc Campus. Through interactive discussions, activities, and reflection sessions, participants were encouraged to embrace their strengths, build confidence, and foster solidarity among women, drawing inspiration from the leadership and resilience symbolized by the Babaylans.

Hair Salon. Beauty care

To conclude the program, participants enjoyed a Pampering Day featuring complimentary haircuts, manicures, and pedicures through the support of Got To Be Hair Salon. Beauty care kits were also distributed to all women participants as a token of appreciation, promoting self-care and well-being.

Through this celebration, EMI reaffirms its commitment to gender equality and an inclusive workplace where women are empowered to lead and thrive, while strengthening camaraderie and mutual support within the organization
