(EMI), through its Social Development and Management Program (SDMP), successfully implemented complementary initiatives for the Guinabon Organic Farmers Association in Barangay Guinabon, Sta. Cruz, Zambales, aimed at strengthening sustainable agriculture and improving farmers’ livelihoods.
On May 21, 2026, EMI provided seed capital in the form of agricultural inputs amounting Php 60,000.00, enabling the association to expand its organic farming activities, improve crop yield and quality, and enhance market opportunities and income potential. The provision of these planting materials directly supports the farmers’ production cycle and promotes the sustainability of their operations.
Earlier, on April 21, 2026, EMI also distributed essential farming equipment worth Php 120,000.00, benefiting 280 members by enhancing productivity, promoting sustainable practices, and strengthening operational capacity.
Through these combined efforts—with seed capital serving as a key driver for growth—the association is better positioned to maximize resources, improve operational efficiency, and build a more resilient and self-sustaining farming community. This effort underscores EMI’s continued commitment to inclusive development and the long-term growth of the local agricultural sector.
