Molino | As part of its continued commitment to sustainable community development, the project entitled Construction of Drainage Canal was successfully implemented in Barangay Gama through the Social Development and Management Program (SDMP). With a total project cost of Php 30,000, the initiative was undertaken to address local drainage concerns and improve water flow management within the community.
The project benefits approximately 2,602 residents and the general public by reducing water stagnation, minimizing flood risks, and improving sanitation conditions. Through an enhanced drainage system, it promotes a cleaner, safer, and healthier environment.
Completed with a total length of 24 meters, the drainage canal serves as a practical infrastructure improvement that supports proper water runoff and helps prevent environmental hazards.
Moreover, the project underscores the value of community-focused initiatives in strengthening resilience, enhancing living conditions, and promoting sustainable development.
This initiative stands as a clear reminder that even modest infrastructure can drive meaningful change—protecting communities, enhancing daily living, and paving the way toward a safer and more sustainable Barangay Gama.
